A Flowey Kind of Winter

En: It snowed heavily this weekend and we took advantage of it as if we were little children, excited to play in the soft, white snow. Of course my outfit is anything but weather appropriate, but you should already know that by now: I only dress according to my mood (and end up freezing quite often). I really miseed wearing these floral shorts and they really brightened up the day so I put up with the cold. Wear whatever you want, whenever you want it (with a sense of decency, of course), it feels great to break the routine!

Ro: A nins puternic la Cluj in acest weekend. Ne-am trezit duminica dimineata acoperiti de nameti si am redevenit copii pentru cateva ore - nu puteam sta in acasa, zapada pufoasa era prea ispititoare. Bineinteles ca nu m-am imbracat deloc potrivit pentru o plimbare prin zapada, dar mi-era tare dor sa port haine cu imprimeuri primavaratice (macar pe sub palton daca altfel nu se poate). Tinuta mi-a inseninat ziua asa ca ma gandesc sa o repet curand: dresurile de 100 den fac frigul tolerabil si starea mea de spirit e cea mai importanta!

February Wishlist

En: Aaah February...the month of love? I don't know how you feel about V-day, but personally, I enjoy any reason to celebrate without going too crazy. However, I do use it as an excuse to go shopping for pretty outfits (I need to justify myself) and I could really use a pop of red in my closet. I think that skirt at no. 6 might be just the perfect thing!

Ro: Nu o sa dezbat importanta Valentine's Day (sau lipsa ei). Si nici despre Dragobete nu imi doresc sa vorbim. Cred ca fiecare are dreptul sa faca ce crede de cuviinta: unii se dau peste cap incercand sa ii faca o surpriza persoanei iubite, altii fac rezervari la cel mai scump restaurant, iar o a treia categorie nu vor nimic de-a face cu o sarbatoare imprumutata! Eu cred ca orice prilej de sarbatoare e bine venit (si orice prilej de cumparaturi e si mai bine venit) si mai cred ca am mare nevoie de ceva rosu in graderoba. Fusta de la numarul 6 ar fi exact ce imi trebuie in februarie!

En: I don't know how I managed to live without a cropped sweater for so long. Now that I finally got my hands on this lovely pink one, I see how it goes with every summer dress I own and instantly makes it season appropriate. Ro: Mi-am dat seama de curand cata nevoie aveam de un astfel de pulover: scurt, roz pal, gros si perfect de luat peste orice rochie delicata. Cine spune ca rochiile de vara pot fi purtate numai cand termometrele arata 30 grade plus? Sub multe alte straturi, cu dresuri si botine, sunt numai bune si-n ianuarie :) Daca tocmai ati realizat ca aveti mare nevoie de un pulover asemanator, linkul se gaseste mai jos!

Ro: In pat. Bolnava. Prea greu sa alcatuiesc propozitii coerente. Sper ca va plac tinutele in multe straturi. Rochia asta e perfecta. Si a fost un chilipir. 40 RON. Reduceri. Sper sa ma refac curand. Sper ca va plac fotografiile de azi!

To the Rescue!

En: This hat comes to my rescue yet another time. You know, dark roots already showing and no time for the hair salon - usual girl drama! But let us not divert too much from the topic of my outfit: classical coat, high waisted jeans and over the knee boots; I was looking for comfort yesterday and it was an accomplished mission. Have a great Sunday everyone, I'll be spending mine in pijamas as I've been dreaming of a relaxing weekend all through the week! :)

Ro: In urma cu aproximativ 3 ani nu aveam nici macar o palarie. Acum am doua cutii albe, rotunde, facute la comanda, care ascund cate 3 palarii fiecare. Preferata mea ramane cea din imagini, un cadou foarte atent si foarte frumos (si perfect ca sa imi ascund eu radacinile nevopsite :)). Am tanjit dupa un weekend relaxant toata saptamana, asa ca tinuta mea de ieri e una extrem de comoda: palton clasic, jeansi cu talie inalta si cizme joase, fara pic de toc. Astazi planuiesc o zi intreaga in pijamale si cred ca asa o sa reusesc sa infrunt ziua de luni cu mai mult curaj. O duminica minunata va doresc!

En: I don't know about you, but I've been searching for a good pair of over-the-knee boots forever. And I've come across a few, but none were even close to budget friendly. Ro: Cizmele peste genunchi - le tot caut de ceva vreme, dar nu a fost usor sa gasesc o pereche care sa fie suficient de frumoase, dar sa nu am nevoie de credit de nevoi personale pentru ele. Luna ianuarie cu nelipsitele sale reduceri m-a salvat, insa. Daca esti si tu intr-o situatie asemanatoare, un click pe oricare din linkurile de mai sus si ai rezolvat problema. Eu am ales perechea numarul 2 si promit multe fotografii de indata ce ajung!

Not 50 Shades of Grey

En: Only about 4. Shades of Grey. I know some people prefer to brighten up gloomy days with colorful outfits, but it's obviously not my case, I chose to play the monochromatic, weather friendly, card. Still, I hope you find some inspiration in this look as I'll be short with my writing today - my job is amazing, but exhausting, so I'll go catch up on some much needed sleep right now!

Ro: Gri. Vreo 4 tonuri diferite pentru ca am de unde (imi place si imi tot cumpar, n-ai ce-i face!). Stiu ca as fi putut sa ma razvratesc impotriva vremii si sa incerc sa fortez soarele cu un outfit colorat, dar m-a tentat mai mult ideea de a ma incadra perfect in decor. Sper sa gasiti putintica inspiratie in tinuta asta; mai multe nu spun, sunt zgarcita cu vorbele pentru ca mi-am propus un somn de peste 8 ore in noaptea asta, ceea ce inseamna ca ar trebui sa ma retrag cam...acum!
