En: I don't know about you, but I've been searching for a good pair of over-the-knee boots forever. And I've come across a few, but none were even close to budget friendly. Ro: Cizmele peste genunchi - le tot caut de ceva vreme, dar nu a fost usor sa gasesc o pereche care sa fie suficient de frumoase, dar sa nu am nevoie de credit de nevoi personale pentru ele. Luna ianuarie cu nelipsitele sale reduceri m-a salvat, insa. Daca esti si tu intr-o situatie asemanatoare, un click pe oricare din linkurile de mai sus si ai rezolvat problema. En: New Year doesn't always mean New Me, but it definitely means new clothes. Especially with the sales popping up everywhere. I know I can't resist them, so I put together a (small) absolutely random wishlist of things I could make room in my closet for. Happy shopping!

Ro: Poate ca noul an nu inseamna neaparat schimbare pentru toata lumea, dar da-mi voie sa presupun ca inseamna o garderoba innoita. Nu atat din cauza inceputului de an, ci mai mult din cauza reducerilor care ne asalteaza online si offline deopotriva. Eu una sunt o victima sigura, mi-am si alcatuit wishlist-ul, iar daca ceva va face cu ochiul, dati un click :)

Going to College

Am purtat: palton - il gasiti AICI; bluza - Zara; pantaloni - Vero Moda; pantofi - All Shoes; ochelari de soare - Meli Melo.

En: I think having just graduated, I'm feeling quite nostalgic this fall. I always pictured autumn as the time for new beginnings, which it was - a new school year was the perfect time to start fresh and set goals for myself both in school and on a personal level. I believe as humans we are a constant work in progress and the need to better ourselves should always stick with us and what beter time to challenge that need than fall? On a more shallow note, fall also meant new clothes and new outfit possibilities. And since I already worn you I'm feeling nostalgic, the outfit today is my take on the perfect college look - simple, classy, comfortable and with a twist on the color scheme. I even brought my books to match it!

Ro: Toamna. Cate s-ar putea spune despre ea, cate s-au si spus, de fapt. Dar poate ca e mai bine sa o las in grija poetilor si sa va spun, foarte pe scurt, cateva vorbe despre tinuta de azi. Trebuie sa mentionez ca e o tinuta nascuta din nostalgie (am absolvit de curand) si a fost primul Octombrie fara cursuri si stagii. Asa ca am facut un mic exercitiu de imaginatie - cum m-as fi imbracat daca...? si asta e rezultatul. Asta as fi purtat in prima zi de facultate: simplu, clasic, comod, in roz, negru si visiniu. Linkul pentru paltonul roz se gaseste putin mai sus :)!

Double Pink

En: As I'm writing this, lazy on my couch, with Fashion TV on the background, I realize how amazing it feels to have a day off every now and then. I haven't had one of these for a couple of months, so I surely appreciate it. Now that I'm done with my thesis exam (yay!), I figured it was time for a blog post before I hide behind piles of books again (still got my residency in November). I hope you like this black look, brightened only by the hair and pumps. Have a nice week everyone!

Ro: Va scriu aceste randuri de pa canapeaua mea confortabila, unde am stat toata ziua, uitandu-ma la Fashion TV. Am uitat cat e de bine sa avem o zi libera, lipsita de griji, in care nu am facut mai nimic, dar mi-am incarcat bateriile si mi-am odihnit mintea. Aveam mare nevoie de o astfel de zi dupa examenul de licenta (de care am scapat cu bine) si m-am gandit ca inainte de a ma intoarce la mormanele de carti de pe birou (rezidentiatul e de-abia in noiembrie), o noua postare ar fi recomandata. Sper sa va placa tinuta asta all black purtata cu tocurile roz neon Poema de care am fost nedespartita in ultima vreme!

A Chunky Sweater Is All You Need

En: I love seing other girls wearing hats or caps or turbans or any other kind of head accessory. So, obviously, throughout time, I bought some for myself. But somehow, most days, I find myself leaving the house without them. Probably because I hate going over the top with my looks, especially lately (I think I'm in an extreme minimalistic phase) and wearing any kind of head gear makes me feel a little awkward. Well, since perseverance is definitely one of my strenghts and when I look at photos of me wearing hats I get all excited, every once in a while I push myself towards putting a hat on. Just like in today's look, which is a really comfortable suggestion for spring. Going out without a jacket felt really nice and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Ro: Cred ca toti avem haine, pantofi sau alte accesorii pe care ne place sa le privim, dar nu sa le si purtam. Mai mult, ne place sa le vedem la altii si le admiram tinuta, dar credem ca noi am arata ridicol imbracati asa. Pentru mine, asta se intampla mai mereu ce palariile: intorc capul dupa orice fata cu palarie, ador sa le incerc, chiar sa mi le cumpar, dar ma simt oarecum ciudat cand le port. Imi dau sentimentul de prea mult, ca am exagerat cu tinuta mea si ca am iesit din liniile simplitatii pe care am inceput sa o iubesc. Totusi, cand ma uit la fotografii (si ma entuziazmez pentru ca imi place ce vad), constientizez ca o palarie nu face decat sa completeze perfect unele tinute. Asa ca mi-am propus sa ma straduiesc mai mult in perioada care urmeaza (perseverenta nu imi lipseste deloc, deci nu ar trebui sa fie prea greu) si primavara asta o sa imi scot rand pe rand toate palariile/sepcile/esarfele la plimbare. Va incurajez sa faceti la fel si sa indrazniti mai mult!

En: Happy New Year, everyone! Let's start the year with a little shopping, shall we?Although lately I've been  trying to cut down on my shopping (and stay more on the thrifty side), every once in a while I need a closet update with the latest trends. This month I think I'll have to get that hearts printed shirt and the nude skort. And maybe a hooded coat, too? It's a good thing sales are just around the corner!

Ro: La multi ani la toata lumea! Ce-ar fi sa ne incepem anul cu cateva cumparaturi? Mai ales ca in ultima vreme am facut oaresce eforturi sa mai reduc din cantitatea de haine cumparate intr-o luna. Rezultatul? Mi-am cumparat mai putine lucruri din magazine (inclusiv on-line) si am luat cu asalt second hand-urile. Ceea ce nu a insemnat deloc mai putine haine, ci doar mai putini bani cheltuiti (dar e bine si asa deocamdata). Pentru ianuarie am deja cateva mici obsesii, cum ar fi camasa imprimata cu inimioare, panatalonii scurti nude sau paltonul cu gluga de mai jos. Cu siguranta nu va fi asta luna cu mai putine cumparaturi mai ales ca reducerile stau sa inceapa, poate luna viitoare?!
