The Panther

En: This faux fur coat was a life saver this winter (well, it's black, so of course it was a no brainer over every possible outfit). For the rest of the look, I'm wearing clohes I've had for years (read about 3 years for the black panther sweatshirt and about 5 years for the jeans). I think I'm done with trying to create new and interesting outfits for cold weather, so I just go for comfort. Spring, I'm ready for you!

Ro: Nu prea-mi place luna februarie. Numar zilele ramase pana pe 1 martie pentru ca in mintea mea atunci incepe primavara (chiar daca temperaturile de afara se incapataneaza sa nu imi dea dreptate). Ca urmare, tinutele mele sunt extrem de simple si confortabile zilele astea: haine pe care le am inca din primii ani de facultate (jeansii din poze au mai bine de 5 ani de cand s-au instalat la mine-n garderoba), extrem de comode, in culori terne. Cred ca asta inseamna ca sunt pregatita pentru primavara?

By the Lake

En: In spate of the terrible, gloomy weather, we decided to take a walk by the lake yesterday. And in spate of my usuall bad calls when it comes to getting dressed, I nailed it this time with rain boots and a heavy scarf, which protected me from both the mud and the wind. I feel like these boots are one of the best investments I made (now I'm thinking I could also use a pair of green Hunters, but so far these Favollas do the trick just as well). So, in case you still don't own a pair, now's the time!

Ro: Chiar daca nu am mai vazut soarele de cateva zile, ne-am hotarat sa iesim totusi la o plimbare pe malul lacului ieri. Si cu toate ca de obicei nu sunt foarte inspirata cand vine vorba de alegeri vestimentare in ton cu vremea de afara, am nimerit-o de data asta cu cizme de cauciuc si un fular gros, ambele foarte necesare avand in vedere ca ne-am plimbat prin noroaie si ne-a suflat vantul din plin. Cred ca perechea asta de cizme sunt printre cele mai bune investitii ale mele (ma gandesc ca as putea sa mai adaug colectiei si o pereche de  cizme Hunter verzi pe viitor, dar deocamdata mi-e bine cu perechea asta Favolla). De fapt, imi plac atat de mult ca mi-am comandat si versiunea mai scurta, tot din cauciuc negru si tot de pe www.fashiondays.ro. Le astept cu nerabdare de cateva saptamani si vi le recomand si voua cu incredere!

That Hat

En: So it's been a while. A week and a half to be more precise. And I hated every second of it. Partly because I really dislike being away from my blog, but mostly because I had way too much to study. Well, I'm done with exams for now so no more blogging breaks for a while. I had these photos prepared for quite some time and never got around to posting them; the setting is my backyard while it was snowing like crazy and everything was covered in white. I feel like the scenery gives this look a whimsical feeling and I hope you enjoy them, too. I kept my outfit rather simple, at least colorwise because I wanted my new hat to stand out. Once I saw how this orange matches my hair color, I had to have it and didn't think how it won't match any of my outerwear (besides this one). Now the hard part is not buying a new coat to go with it...

Ro: A trecut ceva vreme. Vreo 10 zile ca sa fiu precisa. Si nu mi-au placut deloc. Partial pentru ca simt ca ceva e in neregula daca stau prea mult timp departe de blog, dar mai ales pentru ca mi-am petrecut zilele cu cartea de ginecologie (anul 6 la medicina nu e deloc o fericire). Partea buna e ca toate trec si acum sunt in vacanta, deci urmeaza multe postari cu si mai multe idei si sugestii. Pozele astea aseptau de ceva vreme sa fie impartasite, le-am facut intr-un weekend cu troiene de zapada la Cluj cand pana si curtea noastra arata de poveste. Si pentru ca am vrut sa port palaria mea cea noua (care nu se potriveste cu mai nimic din ce am eu in dulap), am pastrat restul tinutei in nuante de alb si negru. Acum marea provocare e sa nu imi cumpar un nou palton care sa se potriveasca cu palaria...

About Winter and Skirts

En: I wore this outfit to celebrate our two year anniversary (me with my fiance) and while I loved the look, I have to admit I could have frozen to death had this walk been any longer. We were feeling really happy and excited and in the mood to take millions of photos, but no matter how much I love wearing skirts, below zero temperatures are a real challenge. So we made it a rather quick photoshoot, where I also get to show you my over the knee bots (doesn't everyone and their mother have a pair?). Funny thing is I bought these in spring for a fraction of the price and although it seemed a waste of money at the time, now it proved one of the wisest things I've done. Hope you like it!

Ro: Am purtat tinuta asta pentru a aniversa doi ani alaturi de logodnicul meu si cu toate ca mi-a placut mult, am fost aproape congelata la sfarsitul plimbarii noastre prin oras. Eu am o chestie cu fustele (adica imi plac prea mult) si nu pot renunta la ele nici cand temperaturile de afara o cam impun, asa ca sufar cumplit in fiecare iarna si ma gandesc cu nerabdare la primavara. Fusta am purtat-o cu noile mele cizme peste genunchi cumparate candva in luna mai (cand pareau o investitie stupida avand in vedere ca am asteptat juma de an sa le port) la un pret de vreo 2 ori mai mic decat sunt acum in magazine. Mai am si eu sclipiri din astea si tare utile se dovedesc pe termen lung! Cum va place?

Snow walk

En: There's these two things I love about winter: the holidays and snowboarding.Okay, and maybe seeing the snowfall from inside my warm home or waking up to an all white scene without having to leave the house.This last part is extremely important, I love to look at winter, I just hate to live the cold!But today, the temperature was bearable and I was finally able to take my not-exactly as warm-as-i-expected-it coat for a walk in the park!And winter felt right!

Ro: Iarna nu este anotimpul meu preferat.Iubesc sarbatorile de iarna si sa ma dau cu snowboardul, asa ca o tolerez.Imi place si sa vad prima ninsoare(sau a mia) si sa ma trezesc in fata unui peisaj cu totul alb daca il vad din interiorul apartamentului meu calduros.Este esential sa-l vad dinauntru pentru ca pe cat ador sa ma uit la iarna, pe atat urasc sa-i simt frigul!Dar azi, temperatura a fost suportabila si am reusit sa imi iau paltonul nou(care e mai primavaratic decat m-as fi asteptat cand l-am comandat) la o plimbare.Imi place la nebunie cum arata cu colantii mei de super-erou(asa i-au botezat colegii de facultate)!
